Let The Waves Come In by J.L. Leslie

What can I say, I really enjoyed Let The Waves Come In. I just finished it and oh the feels. I love the second chance romance genre, and this book was bittersweet. Everyone makes mistake, but can you overcome them?
It all begins with our main character Aubrey, who has a major crush on her neighbor next door. For years she wanted to be noticed by him, until she turns eighteen, the day before she journey's to college.
Declan and Aubrey share a night of passion, feeling as if finally they can be together.
Until Declan throws it in her face that it was just sex. He never had any feelings for her, just a quick lay.
So our heroine leaves with her heart in shatters. Hoping that she will never see him again.
*Fast forward 6 years later*
Aubrey's worst nightmare has come. She decides to go to the bar, and who does she see Declan, that's right Declan, the one who destroyed her.
Will these two find some common ground? Will Declan finally admit his feelings, and his mistakes way back than? Most of all will their new relationship stand a chance?
Read to find out.
